This guide sets out clear best practices for the Automotive Online Lead Generation sector. It describes each process relating to the capture, management and trade of online lead generation data, and clarifies the roles and responsibilities of all stakeholders. 

The IAB Automotive Lead Generation Working Group has been set up by the IAB Online Lead Generation Council to create this best practice guide. Acquiring and verifying quality online leads in Automotive Lead Generation involves a number of stakeholders of whom, all have responsibilities or ‘duties of care’ to the customer and to each other. These duties of care will be referred to in each section of this best practice guide.
