IAB UK Moves forward with Engage

The IAB UK has announced the date for Engage, its flagship conference, which is set to take place on Thursday 7 June.

Taking place at The Barbican, the spiritual home of Engage, the event promises to inspire and motivate delegates with a packed agenda featuring speakers from a wide variety of backgrounds and specialties all with a unique take on digital.

Jon Mew, CEO at IAB UK said, “In a time when there’s so much scrutiny within the industry, Engage is the antidote. It’s easy to get caught-up thinking about the ‘now,’ Engage allows all of us to think about the future with a different perspective.”

Over the years, Engage has gained a reputation for inspiring delegates, the majority of which are UK advertisers. “What makes this event special is that it reminds us that we work in a brilliant, progressive and diverse industry,” said Mew. “Engage is designed to help the advertising industry make positive change and build a better digital world together.”

Focusing on the long-term, the theme for Engage 2018 is ‘Moving Forward’.

James Chandler, CMO at IAB UK, said “Engage is the perfect place for our industry to celebrate digital, learn from inspirational leaders and come together to build a sustainable future for digital advertising. The calibre of speakers continues to grow each year, and we’ve brought together a mix of unconventional views that will challenge perspectives on what the future holds.”

Confirmed speaker include:

  • Polly Curtis, Editor-in-Chief at HuffPost UK

  • Tom Goodwin, EVP, Head of Innovation at Zenith
