Snapchat launches new advanced performance tools for marketers
Snapchat has announced the launch of a new set of advanced tools to allow marketers to better manage the performance of their adverts on the platform.
Snapchat has announced that it is launching a new set of analytical tools aimed at helping marketers to better track the performance of the ads that they publish via the social image-sharing platform.
The new range of advanced tools includes functions that will enable marketers to set up and track large-scale campaigns, with this set to feature a 'targeting library', from where they will be able to select the audience that they want to target with their adverts.
This is intended to ensure greater success for campaigns by making sure they are reaching the right people, although marketers will be able to use the other new tools to measure the performance of their ads and make subsequent tweaks to their strategy where necessary.
Snapchat users will be able to access this range of tools by selecting the 'Advanced Mode' function in their app settings. It will only be available to the app's most prolific advertisers to begin with, but is set to be rolled out further over the coming months.
