Radio Audio Week returns for second year

Radio Audio Week will include many fascinating insights including all of the exciting developments in online audio coming from our Audio Advisory Group. 


IAB UK has joined with organisations from across the radio and audio industries for the second year running to celebrate the audio revolution. Radio Audio Week 2019 will take place 13-18 May, and include the IAB’s annual Sound Investment Seminar in Thursday 16 May.

The week brings together partners from across the audio sector including IAB UK, Radiocentre, the BBC, The Radio Academy, the IPA and the British Podcast Awards.

The IAB’s Sound Investment Seminar on Thursday 16 May will feature experts from our Audio Advisory Group telling you all about the exciting developments and offerings in online audio, demonstrating the brand effectiveness of the channel and showcasing the latest and greatest in audio creative. Delegates can expect to hear all about the importance of audio’s ability to help brands of the future create emotional attachment and tell stories.

The full list of Radio Audio Week events continues to grow, and will include The Radio Academy’s annual Radio Festival on Monday 13 May, Radiocentre’s Tuning In conference on Tuesday 14 May and the British Podcast Awards on Saturday 18 May. 

The IPA, the trade body for marketing communications agencies, will kick off the week on Monday 13 May with a breakfast seminar giving a TouchPoints perspective on audio in peoples’ everyday lives. The afternoon of Friday 17 May sees the inaugural Young ARIAS Award ceremony, a partnership between the BBC and commercial radio recognising exciting young audio talent aged 8 – 18.
