Becks tops UK's Instagram rich list

David Beckham has been named the UK's most valuable Instagram influencer, charging brands as much as $300,000 (£228,000) to collaborate with him on a single sponsored post.

New figures from Hopper HQ place Becks at the top of Britain's Instagram rich list, but he is surpassed when US celebrities are added into the mix, with reality TV star turned successful businesswoman Kylie Jenner topping the global list. Beckham is placed 12th overall.

Jenner is believed to make as much as $1 million per sponsored Instagram post, demonstrating just how influential the power of working with these stars can be for a brand.

Popstar Selena Gomez came in second place, with her Instagram posts worth up to $800,000 a time, while Cristiano Ronaldo ranked third with posts worth in the region of $750,000.

Behind Becks in the list of top five Instagram earners in the UK were fellow football star Gareth Bale ($185,000 per post), YouTuber Zoe Sugg, ($16,000), model and actress Rosie Huntington-Whiteley (£11,500) and chef Jamie Oliver ($8,000).
