A snapshot of UK media using IAB / PwC Adspend and WARC data, for Jan -June 2018.
In H1 2018, the total advertising market in the UK grew by 7.2%. Digital showed strong growth, at 15.0% year on year. Radio, TV and Out of home also showed growth in this period.
Digital’s share grew to 56% of the total UK market, which was valued at £11.44bn in the first half of 2018.
Digital became the second largest display media, with TV being the largest.
These charts are based on WARC data for Jan-June 2018, as well as the IAB/PwC Digital Adspend Study.
