Tim joined the Internet Advertising Bureau (IAB) in 2009 as Head of Research, became Director of Research and Strategy in 2010, Chief Strategy Officer in 2014 and then Chief Digital Officer in 2017.
Tim is responsible for overseeing the Regulatory Affairs, Research Public Policy & Ad Tech team. This includes all the IAB’s activities relating to key industry issues such as data protection and e-privacy, viewability, ad fraud, brand safety and measurement.
Prior to the IAB, Tim worked in the online recruitment space, starting, running and selling an independent online recruitment agency and gained digital experience at the job board Workthing.com, was part of the team that launched the original Guardian Unlimited network of sites and prior to that sold print advertising at the Guardian.
