Web Content Executive

Who we are:

The IAB works in a very open and collaborative way. A team of c. 30, we have a company meeting to kick off the week, project teams composed of people from different departments, as well as a strong sense of team within each department. We encourage our people to be entrepreneurial and feel empowered to drive change and deliver new projects. We are not about working at your desk all day every day, our office and separate events space allows us to change the scenery and we encourage hot-desking and support flexible working.

Culture:

Culture is very important to us, we work with the whole industry, an innovative, dynamic and fast moving sector so we want our people to add to the fabric of what we do and what we represent. We are a social and upbeat team with different expertise and interests (baking, cycling, eating burgers) and a great ability to pitch in and work together to deliver our big events and initiatives. Education is important so in addition to training we hold regular lunch and learn sessions, presentations for the team that help us all keep up to speed with developments across the industry. We celebrate success whether it’s the completion of a big project or something small but important. We have two orange slides in our office and a couple of hoverboards to keep us entertained.

The Marcomms team

We sit at the heart of the IAB making sure all our best content and messages are promoted and all our insights are used to improve what we do and show how the industry works together. We are guardians of making the complex simple, tackling the big issues, and promoting what works in digital. We have an appetite for information and communication.   

Skills and experience required:

Website

The recently launched site www.iabuk.com is built in Drupal and is connected to a Dynamic CRM. We work with an external agency but manage the content and day to day in house.
 
Content management experience essential (Drupal preferable)

  • Responsible for day to day publishing including blogs, videos, whitepapers, case studies & event pages

  • Bug fixing when required    

  • Publish podcasts on audioBoom & Soundcloud

  • Support Content and Communications Manager in maintaining and optimising site

  • Work with internal departments to improve content on site e.g. tagging, imagery, formatting etc

    
Analytics and performance 

  • Review and share website performance, as well as emails, social media and podcast engagement

Social media

  • Management of IAB UK's Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn & Snapchat accounts

  • Maintain identity (tone and content) of each account

  • Live tweeting from IAB events 

Email

  • Produce and distribute branded emails 

  • Experience using MailChimp preferable 

Skills, qualifications and experience:

  • Web publishing and experience with Drupal essential

  • Able to juggle and deliver various tasks at the same time

  • Efficient and organised to get things done

  • Some knowledge of the digital advertising landscape useful

  • Excellent communication skills both verbally and on paper

  • Ideally but not necessarily qualified to degree level

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, a 'people' person who builds good relationships
