The Role

We’re looking for a hands-on Content Producer to take IAB UK’s social, podcast and video output to the next level. This role is all about making us more influential, relevant and engaging across the digital advertising industry. You’ll be creating eye-catching, shareable content that puts our priority messages where our members and their customers are spending their time, rather than buried in long reports. From filming and editing to writing sharp, compelling copy, you’ll be at the centre of how IAB UK shows up.

Key Responsibilities

Social & Copywriting

  • Create and schedule engaging content for IAB UK’s social channels (LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok), drawing on copywriting and video creation skills to maximise traction
  • Translate complex insights and policy updates into clear, accessible and engaging posts
  • Monitor and manage our engagement with members and industry players across our social channels
  • Draft punchy headlines, captions and hooks that cut through and encourage sharing
  • Write and edit copy for podcasts, newsletters and thought leadership pieces
  • Supporting the Head of Comms with PR and media outreach as required

Podcast & Audio

  • Produce and edit The IAB UK Podcast – managing guest comms, recording, editing and promotional assets
  • Write episode summaries, social copy and promotional materials
  • Experiment with new audio formats (e.g. short-form explainers, mini-series)

Video & Creative Content

  • Film and edit video content for campaigns, events, interviews and social-first explainers
  • Capture quick-turnaround vox pops and soundbites at IAB events
  • Create reels, cuts, infographics and other multimedia content optimised for each platform

Content Campaigns

  • Repurpose longer-form content (guides, reports, research) into accessible, social-first formats
  • Work closely with colleagues to develop multi-channel content campaigns that support IAB’s priorities
  • Collaborate with designers and agencies when needed, while producing high-quality content in-house

Performance & Optimisation

  • Track content performance and use analytics to inform future activity
  • Stay on top of social and digital trends, advising the team on new formats and approaches

Skills and Experience

  • Strong multimedia production skills: filming, editing (Adobe Creative Suite, Final Cut, or equivalent), and audio editing (Audition, Audacity, Descript or similar)
  • Excellent copywriting and editing skills, with the ability to adapt tone for different formats and audiences
  • Proven experience producing content for social platforms with an understanding of how to drive engagement
  • Comfortable distilling complex topics into engaging, shareable content
  • Creative, resourceful and proactive – confident producing content end-to-end
  • Knowledge of digital advertising/media is an advantage but not essential

Management structure

This role will report into the Head of Communications, sitting alongside the Marketing Manager and Digital Project Manager. It has no line reports.

Compensation

This role offers a salary of £35,000 plus a comprehensive benefits package including a discretionary bonus.

How to apply

Please send your CV, a short application video and examples of your work to Tom Stevens [email protected] by Friday 17 October to be considered for this role.
