The mobile diploma, which is the only IAB accredited mobile specific course, has been designed as an in-depth 16 module course that goes from entry level to mobile to expert. Areas covered include building mobile campaigns, offline applications, and ensuring mobile is an integral part of the multi-digital channel ecosystem

The training course, which was created by Starcom’s European Mobile Strategy and Development Director Scott Curtis alongside partners from InMobi, will be made available to all Publicis Groupe employees and clients.

Scott Curtis said: “We are delighted that the IAB has recognised our work in this area. This training course was developed to help educate, inform and drive further understanding and uptake of mobile for all our clients and colleagues so that they can take full advantage of the power and potential of mobile.”

IAB UK’s Head of Events and Training, Lizzie McIntosh said: “We’re really excited to be working with Publicis Media on their newly launched Mobile Training Diploma. With mobile now accounting for the vast majority (78%) of digital ad spend growth, it’s more important than ever that the industry is as knowledgeable as possible on the great benefits the discipline has to offer. So we welcome this new training course and are looking forward to working with Publics Media on it.”

Iain Jacob, Chief Executive Publicis Media, EMEA, said: “This is a terrific endorsement and is further evidence of our market leading credentials in the mobile space.”

Amine Melouk, VP Brand, Europe at InMobi commented: “We are extremely delighted in partnering the with the Mobile Masterclass Training Series initiative by Publicis and IAB, offering a unique opportunity to improve knowledge in the fast pace mobile eco-system while simultaneously creating a new educational path for clients, peers and professionals around the industry.”
