Twitter's First View launches in UK and Europe

Universal is the first brand to test First View, Twitter's new video ads, in the UK.

Twitter is now rolling out its new ad offering First View in the UK and across Europe, which lets video promotions work with a Promoted Trend.

This will allow advertisers to buy ownership of premium ad placements for 24-hour periods, meaning they will be able to reach higher audience numbers and increase viewability in an immersive way.

Universal has been announced as the first brand to test First View in the UK, in order to promote its new film, The Huntsman: Winter's War, which will hit cinemas on April 4th.

Jeremie Ballouard, digital and CRM director of Groupe FCA Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, said: "This is not just another advertising format, this enables us to reach and engage with our unique audience with impact thanks to video."

This product has been specifically designed for brands who are looking to share product launches, TV show premieres, live events, sponsorships and movie releases.
