New partnership aims to equip graduates with essential industry insight and skills for careers in digital marketing
We’ve partnered with Manchester Metropolitan University so that all of its staff and students can now access our extensive resources and CPD accredited training courses. Students are able to complete our e-learning courses to achieve an IAB Informed Certificate, helping to build their skills and boost employability. Put together with specialist practitioners, training courses span many areas in digital marketing, including how ads are served online to the measurement of digital campaigns. Our members helped shape the IAB Informed certificate, sharing their perspectives on what will help graduates thrive in their first role.
Other resources available include access to all reports and research such as our bi-annual Adspend study, as well as attendance at IAB UK events and webinars. We hope that by opening up these resources to university students, the partnership will help to boost the career credentials of those entering the digital marketing sector.
Joanna Bodley, Senior Lecturer in Digital Marketing at Manchester Metropolitan University, said: “As only the second university to partner with IAB to offer these resources, e-learning platform and certification scheme, we continue to set our graduates apart.
“Digital marketing is ever-evolving, and we are keen to ensure that our students have the best possible start to their careers. The partnership between Manchester Met University and IAB UK adds to our already strong industry links and provides a wealth of trusted, real-world and cutting-edge content from practitioners and experts to support our teaching and our students’ studies."
