The Exchange Lab wins Engage 2016 vote

The Exchange Lab’s CEO Chris Dobson is to speak on the first day of this year’s flagship two-day IAB Engage conference in October.

The Exchange Lab, a programmatic digital media marketplace has won our annual vote to speak at IAB Engage 2016: Power & Choice. The conference runs from Wednesday 12 October to Thursday 13 October.

Chris will be joined by Abby Tomlinson, Milifandom; Caitlin Moran, journalist, author, and broadcaster; Claire Valoti, GM UK, Snapchat; Karen Blackett OBE, Mediacom; Mark Adams, CEO, Havas Digital; Poorna Bell, Executive Editor, The Huffington Post and many more. Our celebrity guest for Day Two of the conference is yet to be announced.

For another year, the IAB invited our audience to help shape the agenda of Engage 2016. Member companies were invited to submit their session ideas, which were then judged by a panel of IAB agency ambassadors. Voting was then opened on the IAB website for members and attendees to choose their favourite session on the day.

The Exchange Lab topped the vote with their session titled ‘Disengaged: Are CMOs missing the mark when it comes to engaging millennials?.’ The session will look at why the psychology of power and choice plays such an integral role in engaging millennials, sharing best practice tips to increase engagement online and beyond.

The IAB's COO, Jon Mew commented:

Congratulations to The Exchange Lab on winning the vote, we’re really excited to add them to an incredible line up. Engage will be exploring the power and choice that the internet has given consumers throughout their lives and how it has democratised marketing. We’re looking forward to hearing The Exchange Lab’s views on how to tap into the power and choice of digital and engage millennials.
