Gaming has fast become a leading channel when it comes to innovative digital advertising - but it’s appeal is about more than just about the game itself. It’s about the people that are playing. Community is key when it comes to gaming; but how can marketers authentically resonate with gaming communities? How do they show up in a meaningful way? And what role do influencers play in unlocking these opportunities for brands?
 
Join us at November’s edition of The Last Thursday Club, along with gaming experts, as we unpack the true potential of gaming communities for brands. As always, we’ll keep the presentation and discussions fast-paced so that you have plenty of time to catch up with your industry peers and meet new people.
 
We created The Last Thursday Club to give our members told us they wanted more opportunities to come together in person - it’s open to all IAB members and takes place between 5-7pm on the last Thursday of every month.

Nerea is a quirky creator, a dynamic force at the intersection of art, design, technology and science. With a background in Product Design, Multimedia and Mechanical Engineering, she’s teamed up to push boundaries with the likes of EE, Samsung, JBL, Google, Lego, King, Amazon, Meta, and even had a blast working with her idols, La Fura dels Baus. From running an online music mag to 2D animation and stage performances, her diverse experiences shape a unique perspective. A relentless adventurer, curious problem-solver and dreamer, Nerea weaves innovation and imagination into every project.

Nerea joined Havas Play, over 12 months ago, to lead on the BTL launch of EE’s new platform. Kicking off with their first ever Game Day - a one-day, mixed-reality, immersive gaming stunt built to authentically gain credibility for EE within the gaming community, and landing EE Store as the ultimate destination for gaming, for every player on any network.
