The Role:

The Marketing Manager is responsible for the IAB’s look and feel internally and externally, as well as for the production of all marketing collateral.

They are the guardian of IAB UK's brand, making sure that every touchpoint - be that online or physical - is on-brand and presented to a consistently high standard.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Work collaboratively with all internal IAB UK teams to understand and support their marketing needs – including producing Powerpoint presentations and videos

  • Create presentations for high profile speaker opportunities involving the IAB team

  • Manage and foster the relationship with the IAB’s external design agency across all events marketing

  • Work with the IAB’s video production partners to deliver brilliant video work from events to testimonials to internal collateral

  • Execute the IAB’s video output that complements and feeds into our overall content strategy

  • Deploy design and video editing skills to ensure the IAB can be agile in ensuring consistent, relevant collateral

  • Manage and execute the IAB’s paid media budget across display and PPC

  • Collaborate closely with the Events & Education team on marketing needs for all IAB events and training

  • Oversee IAB UK’s official presence at all our flagship events

  •  Work with the wider IAB team to make sure they understand our brand identity, toolkit and how to use it - this could involve running surgeries or spending time 1:1 with those who need support

Skills, knowledge & characteristics

  • Ideally marketing role experience within digital advertising

  • Intermediate graphic design experience essential

  • Energetic, agile and proactive approach to work with the ability to manage multiple projects at once

  • Creative and full of ideas, with an attitude of innovation and experimentation

  • Exceptional attention to detail

  • Experience of Facebook advertising and Google AdWords

  • Experience of managing third party design & production partners/agencies

  • Ability to write tight, clearly defined briefs

  • Advanced Adobe Creative Cloud skills specifically Illustrator, InDesign & Photoshop

  • Professional experience of shooting and editing video

  • A naturally collaborative approach to working with others

  • A challenger of convention and the way things have been done before
