IAB UK responds to CMA call for information

Posted on: Friday 31 July 2020 | IAB UK

Our response includes likely future developments in the industry, the impact of COVID-19 and the need for continued industry wide engagement

Following the publication of the CMA Market Study into online platforms and digital advertising, the Digital Markets Taskforce (led by the CMA) is developing advice for the Government on how to design and implement new pro-competition measures practice. The Taskforce issued a call for information in July and IAB UK has submitted a response covering:

  • some of the future developments we expect to see in the market

  • the impact of COVID-10 on the UK digital ad industry

  • the need for continuing industry engagement as this work is taken forward, and the consideration of industry-led approaches to meet objectives.
