With Boris Johnson’s new cabinet now in place, I would like to take the opportunity to congratulate Nicky Morgan MP on her appointment as Culture Secretary. As the head of DCMS, we look forward to working with her and her team to help build a sustainable future for the digital advertising industry.

As with all reshuffles, it’s hugely important to us that the new Government maintains a consistent approach to industry regulation and we will be ensuring that we continue to represent our members best interests and help to shape agile and responsible regulatory and self-regulatory systems.

On a broader level, the health of our national economy underpins our vibrant and innovative sector. We hope that the new Government will work to ensure a smooth exit from the European Union that safeguards the great strides we have made in establishing a world-leading digital advertising industry.
