The Colt Car Company Limited (Mitsubishi Motors in the UK) was established as the sole UK distributor in 1974. Other subsidiary companies are: Mitsubishi Contract Motoring (contract hire) and Shogun Finance (retail finance). At present the company has a network of 120 dealerships.
