Sustainability

Sustainability

This is a broad term and, in a business context, refers to an industry or business’ ability to prevent the depletion of natural or physical resources so that they will remain available for the long-term. Sustainability is often broken down into three key areas: economic, environmental and social.

AI-generated audience groups that simulate real consumer behaviours and characteristics using aggregated data, without including personally identifiable information (PII).

A media agency uses synthetic audiences to test campaign targeting strategies and predict performance without using real customer data, helping inform media planning decisions.

Synthetic audiences enable advertisers to carry out research and planning in a privacy-safe way, supporting effective targeting and insight generation while reducing reliance on personal data.

Content (text, images, video, audio) generated by AI rather than captured from real-world sources. It includes both entirely AI-generated content and hybrid content where AI enhances, edits or alters real-world media.

A brand uses AI to generate personalised video ads featuring dynamic visuals and voiceovers tailored to different audience segments, without filming multiple versions.

Synthetic media enables advertisers to create and adapt content at scale, making it easier to personalise campaigns, reduce production costs, and respond quickly to changing needs.

Talent

Creator

Higher tier creators may also be referred to as ‘talent’ and are usually represented by an agency

Any audience reflecting the most desired consumer prospects for a product or service, defined by age, sex, race, ethnicity or income; or their combinations for any geographic definition. Expanded targets include purchasing, behavioural, and audience segmentations.

A specific group that an advertiser seeks to reach with its campaign. Target audience is defined by a certain attribute or set of attributes (e.g. Women aged 18-24, Sports Car Lovers, Shoppers In-market for a New car).
