We’re Ovo Energy, the energy supplier that’s putting customers first. 

Frustrated with the dire service and confusing bills he received from his energy supplier, our founder Stephen Fitzpatrick set up Ovo in September 2009 determined to do things differently. From his kitchen table in Gloucestershire, Stephen set about challenging the status quo: he wanted to create a simple, honest and fairly priced energy company that treated its customers decently. 

Our values of transparency, simplicity and honesty guide every decision we make and we have big visions of making energy easier for everyone to understand. We offer three simple energy plans, Better, Cheaper and Greener with simple and transparent billing. We pay 3% interest on credit balances, operate an award-winning call centre in the South West of England and work in partnership with the environmental charity, Cool Earth to protect thousands of acres of rainforest each year.
