The Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) logo

The Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) is the UK’s independent advertising regulator and has been in operation since 1962. It exists to enforce the advertising Codes of Practice written by its sister organisation, CAP (Committee of Advertising Practice), of which IAB UK is a member. The ASA and CAP are funded by an industry levy on advertising spend.
