Speakers from the Advertising Association, IAB UK, IPA and ISBA discussed the announcement made by the Government on Thursday 22 May regarding advertisement of less healthy foods and what this means for the industry ahead of the rules coming into force. This included the exemption of brand advertising from the ban, an explanation of the voluntary agreement that the industry has signed with Government, and what will happen when the ban comes into effect on 5 January 2026.
