Member Services Executive


The role:

The Member Services Executive will be an integral part of the IAB’s membership team. At the IAB we pride ourselves on offering our members the best possible customer service. In order to continue to do this, we are growing our commercial team to help service our expanding number of members.

The Member Services Team look after our members, keeping them engaged with the IAB. This role reports into the Member Services Manager. You will work with different teams across the IAB with the focus on engaging members in all the different projects we deliver throughout the year. At the IAB we are focused on delivering projects with our members for the benefit of the digital advertising industry, such as guidebooks, videos and events.

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing the relationship between the IAB and its members

  • Managing member queries and requests for information, as well as keeping members up-to-date with all projects

  • Working with the marketing team to contribute, update and circulate membership collateral

  • Communicating the key goals and messages of the IAB to members, encouraging them to engage with, and support, these goals

  • Gaining a broad knowledge and understanding of members products and services to aid deeper relationships

  • Business development to recruit new IAB members, selling key benefits of membership to acquire new members

  • Working with internal teams to ensure the comprehensive recording of all membership activity within the internal CRM database


Skills, qualifications and experience:

  • 1-2 years or more experience in a client-service based role

  • Excellent communication skills both verbally and written

  • Confident in presenting to medium size groups and not afraid to pick up the phone to call members

  • Experience of working in a target driven environment

  • Excellent relationship-building skills

  • An incredibly organised team player

  • A real ‘doer’ that gets stuff done

  • Able to juggle various projects at the same time

  • A ‘people’ person who can build great relationships with internal stakeholders

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office

  • A sense of humour, flexible and helpful attitude, self-motivated and able to work under your own initiative
