The initiative has been launched with the support of IAB members WeClick Media whose technology powers all aspects of the Digital Books service.

As part of the initiative, IAB members will be able to access all content from across the IAB's portfolio including the Demographic Series, the Vertical Series, IAB Handbooks, IAB Reports and the newly launched Sector Toolkits. The content is exclusive to IAB members.

WeClick Media's award winning digital platform, ClickPages, teams functionality with creativity bringing new opportunities to traditional publications. Enhancements such as usability and accessibility features have improved the IAB’s publications by giving the user a wide range of functions and tools unavailable in a printed edition.

Discussing the project, Daniel Rawles, business development director at WeClick Media, says: “Digital media is one of the fastest growing industries in the UK and one that the IAB could see as a new opportunity not to be ignored. As traditional print continues to yield high production and distribution costs an ever-increasing number of businesses are realising the potential of digitising their products; be it a magazines, mail-shots, advertisements or press releases.

"We could not be more happy with the way the IAB's publications have turned out and working with such an authority on the internet has cemented our firm belief that the digital publishing era has finally come to fruition and 2010 will be a very interesting year. We have lots planned!”

WeClick Media’s work is not limited to turning pages but includes websites, iPhone apps, widgets, banners, email marketing and microsites. Clients include Next Retail, The Independent, Sony, Standard Life, Penguin Books and Sporting Bet.
